CHARLES BILLINGS Motorsports is a NASCAR Weekly Racing Series team with a total staff of 15 including drivers, crew and management.

Racing primarily in Summerville, South Carolina, CHARLES BILLINGS Motorsports is one of the largest race teams in the state of South Carolina.

With drivers in 4 different race classes, CHARLES BILLINGS Motorsports competes with the best that the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series has to offer every week. Currently the team is in the Sunbelt region of the Weekly Racing Series with plans to expand and also compete in the Atlantic-Coast Region in the near future.

Created in 2000 by Charles D. Billings, Jr. of James Island, South Carolina, CHARLES BILLINGS Motorsports began as a single car team and quickly grew by acquiring another team in the area. Under the helpful guidance of Head Mechanic and Crew Chief George Turner of Moncks Corner, SC, the team began it's expansion. George moved to a drivers position and with the creation of the "Wacky Racing Series" at Summerville Speedway, a division for which Charles has been given the developmental credit, the team saw the immediate need to find additional drivers and cars. on July 5, 2001, TJ Halter of Johns Island, SC was selected to drive the flagship car in the Wacky Racing Series. On July 14, Ray Lewis of Greenville, SC, Matt Keller of Leedon, Missouri and Darryl French of North Charleston, SC were selected to drive additional vehicles in the series. Late Model driver Gail Hughes of Summerville, SC joined in August of 2001 along with her car fabricator and mechanic husband, Kenny. Eric Withington, also a Summerville, SC native joined in September of 2001 as an engine builder and driver of the teams Supertruck. Charles' wife, Wanda has also taken on driving tasks in the Wacky Racing Series for 2001.

Contracts are currently pending with 4 other drivers in the area. Charles' daughter, Danielle, is currently being groomed to handle the driving duties in the Jr. Dragster division of CHARLES BILLINGS Motorsports.
